How to play Christmas Nonogram

Each Christmas board works like any other Nonogram. The numbers on the left of each row and the top of each column tell you the lengths of the filled-cell blocks, in order. A clue like "3 1" means a block of three filled cells, then a gap, then a single filled cell. Fill cells you know are black and mark empties with an X.

Tips for larger boards

  • Start with full lines — a row or column whose clue equals its length fills the whole line.
  • Use the overlap method on long blocks to force cells early.
  • Mark X on cells you have proved empty; Auto does this for finished lines.
