Nonogram Solver Online

A Nonogram solver takes row and column clues and fills cells that line logic can force. Use this free tool to check a handmade board, study deductions one step at a time, or see when clues are contradictory or not uniquely determined.

Paste clues, then Solve all or Next step.

Grid will appear here.

How the solver works

NonogramGo uses the same line-deduction engine as in-game Hint. For each row and column it enumerates placements that match the clues, then paints cells that are filled (or empty) in every valid placement. Solve all repeats until nothing new is forced and lists each deduction. Next step applies a single forced cell so you can learn one move at a time.

If the run ends with ? cells, either the clue set is not unique under line logic, or the puzzle needs deeper search. On boards up to 12×12 we also count solutions (up to two) and report whether the clues look unique.

When to use it
