Fog of war
Fog is limited vision: a lamp around the gold dot. Revealed tiles stay dim after the lamp moves on. Same perfect walls as classic — you just cannot see them all at once.
On a phone, lean on swipe more than tap; taps only walk tiles the lamp already showed. Arrow keys still take a whole corridor to the next fork when that corridor is lit.
Why it feels harder
The carver did not add loops. Fog only hides. You lose time re-entering stubs you already cleared because the board looks empty again. Hard preset is sixteen rooms under the lamp; any room count from the size chips works in fog.
Clean finishes
Marks only keep runs without Hint or Peek. Peek flashes the shortest route through the dark — useful for checking a seed, useless for a ranked time.

FAQ
Is the maze still perfect?
Yes. Fog hides walls; it does not add loops. Between any two rooms there is still one route.
Does Hint work in fog?
Yes, but using Hint or Peek leaves that run off the local marks.
How far does the lamp reach?
Radius grows with board size. Larger mazes show a wider ring so you are not stuck on one tile.
